Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday. I'm sitting here at 2:30pm on the following Sunday. It is quiet in the house. Mommy is asleep. Aubrey is asleep, and Sara is asleep. Oh yeah and of course Axl is asleep. There is not only a calm in the house, there is also a calm in my life. I know that I am doing exactly what God wants me to do. I know that I am supposed to be teaching. I know that I am supposed to be married to your Mommy. I know that I am supposed to raise you two and enjoy raising you two. This weekend was such a fun time to be with both Sara and Aubrey. Sure there are times in which you drive us crazy, but there are also so many times like today. When I got back from my run, Sara was dancing around singing, "Shake my buttie" and Aubrey was playing "Nap time." You both were so cute.
I can honestly tell you both what the highlight of the weekend was for Nana. It was cuddling with Aubrey on the sofa. You two must have cuddled for over half an hour on the sofa. Sometimes the best part of the day is when you two wake up from your naps and you want to cuddle. It doesn't last long, but it is always great when it does.
Mommy had every right to be sleeping. She made all of the food and went down and watched your Daddy run in the rain. Although it was my fastest time up to date. 6.2 miles in 42 minutes and 48 seconds. Broke 43 yeah.
I think the highlight of the weekend for me was hanging out with Great Maw Maw. It was great to spend a couple of days with her and to watch her interact with you two. The morning in which she was scheduled to leave, both Sara and Aubrey sat on her lap while she read stories. I do hope that you will have fond memories of her. It was really quite beautiful.
Aubrey, you just have so much style.
I just love this picture. It is amazing how much you two play together, love on each other, and just hang out. I can't wait to see how it goes when you two become roommates...which is not that far away.
Love
Daddy
